low fat, fat free and other ‘buzz words’ that
food companies use.

thousands of dollars each year because you
don’t have to purchase the ‘expensive’ brands to
maximise your health.

We take your through the supermarket and
show you specic products to buy for your
health needs.

Week One
This week you will learn about basic nutrition
principles and how this relates to reading
labels. We also discuss the principles in meal
planning and we give you tips on how to put
together a meal plan for the week.
You will receive a booklet that covers all the
information in the program.
Week Two
Getting into it. This week we get into the supermarket
and put into practice what was learnt last week. In the rst session you will need to
put together a meal plan for the week. We go
through the breads and cereals section along
with biscuits and snacks.
Week Three
Our focus in this session is the protein foods,
mostly meat, sh, chicken and dairy. We go
through the cold food section and also deli
meats to nd the best choice for your health.
Week Four
This week we focus on treats and occasional
foods. We look at the lollies and snack food
section along with ice-creams and desserts to
find the healthier option.
