Creating a healthy lifestyle has never been so easy.

Nutrition To Increase You Alertness

Can food make you more alert?
Do you feel tired all the time? Laziness got the best of you, well there are a number of factors that help our bodies get the energy it needs. If your body isn’t getting what it needs more than likely its not going to do what you need it to.

Our bodies can make energy from what we eat, but not all foods are treated the same way by the body and their energy values are different.

There all different kinds of ways that your can give your body the energy it needs. Here are some things you can do to boost your energy when you feel tired or want to prevent getting tired.

Some of the basic things you can do is simply turn on the lights, your body should respond naturally to the changes in light. Get more sleep at night, 7 to 8 a night is a pretty reasonable amount.

Exercise! Make sure you don’t miss any of the sessions with Mark. Being active can wake you up and give you an energy boost that should last all day. There a lot of illnesses out there that can reduce your energy levels. Stress, depression, and other negative emotions can drain the energy right out of you.

Staying active can help to counter these problems. Try not to lay in bed longer than you need. It doesn’t do you any good to hit the snooze button in the morning.

Call a friend. Talking with people you like to be around can get you excited, especially if they have good news. When we are happier we are more energetic. Take the dog for a walk, tease the cat with a string and feather or get out and play with the kids. Sitting at a desk all day isn’t doing you any good either, this isn’t something that can be prevented most of the time, we need to work, but there are a few things you can do to stay alert and awake at your desk.

Laugh with a co-worker, it will make you feel better mentally. Listen to your favourite songs this will make you want to get up and dance, although you may have to explain it to the manager at Mai-Wel. Have good posture; slouching will just make you feel lazy.
